Documentary Producers Netherlands (DPN) is the association of Dutch documentary producers
We represent the majority of Dutch documentary producers and promote their common interests. The Dutch Film Industry has a strong tradition in documentaries and is known for its open attitude towards international co-production.
BALDR Film is the Amsterdam-based production company of experienced producers Katja Draaijer and Frank Hoeve. International in scope, they focus on developing, producing and co-producing challenging high-quality fiction films and documentaries of a select number of filmmakers with a distinctive personal signature. BALDR Film is member of Ateliers du Cinéma Européen (ACE).

Basalt Film (2012) is the Rotterdam-based production company of Simone van den Broek. We produce socially relevant documentaries of high artistic quality for National and International cinema and television.
International coproducing for us is an inspiring way of bringing our documentaires to a higher level and a larger audience. Basalt Film is EDN member and part of EAVE network.
In order to produce the best high-impact creative documentaries, Cerutti Film aims to build alliances with diverse partners that support and complement the point of view of the filmmaker. The founder of Hans Heijnen Films (Hans Heijnen 1957) received awards for several of his documentaries. In 1996, after two earlier nominations, three of his documentaries were awarded the Golden Calf Special Jury Prize at the Netherlands Film Festival. In 1999 his documentary Lisdoonvarna, Lourdes of Love won the Silver Spire Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. In 2010 he’s honoured by the Dutch Institution of Image and Sound as Documentary Filmer in Focus. Since 2012 he puts more emphasis on productions for young fellow directors. In the year 2015 he produced three documentaries for talented newcomers, most of them living in the South of the Netherlands where their subjects are mainly situated.

Volya Films is a Rotterdam based company producing author fiction films and creative documentaries. Our films tell unexpected stories, sometimes from parts of the world not covered by the media with an original style and approach.
